It’s easy to hide behind your computer, It’s even convenient! and we think you’re building your business because you’re adding followers on. Our because we can write 5 email newsletters in two hours, instead of going to an event that’ll take 2 hours.

 

But let’s be real, about showing up IN REAL LIFE.

 

I know I show up in person better. Social media is a glimpse of who you are!

In person, we can show up as being interested, not interesting!

 

Women leadership luncheon - 6 hours out of my day.

That event led to me interviewing the founder who I had such a connection with. Podcast -

 

People we meet are a door to an opportunity, whether it’s friendship, business, a resource.

I thought back…...to some in person meetings that have changed my life, as well as the life of others.

 

My coach - met in person. Worked with her - referred her more than a dozen clients who have hired her.

 

Network marketing - more than 15,000 people. $800k in the past 5 years -

 

This made me commit to getting out to at least one event per week, to grow my business, to grow my friends, to grow my LIFE!

 

  1. When connecting - get their number! Yes, social media is great but a number means you can text them RIGHT there!
  2. Follow up immediately! Go to one event so you can spend time following up, really providing value. 10 business cards aren’t worth one person who gets to know, like and trust you!
  3. Show up in your best element!!
